Love this place! The quality of their meat is unmatched. Nothing you will find at a regular supermarket. Original owner is back and really taking care of this place. The glass cases are so beautiful and modern. Very clean! The service is always way above standard. They make everyone feel so special and like family coming in. They always give tips on cooking and recipes. Unmatched!!

I swore to myself and my family that they were not allowed to go to A&S Pork Store in Merrick. They were banned from going there. The old owner did not know how to treat customers, especially during the pandemic he was not a good guy to deal with. When it closed, I said good, and when I found OUT the original owner Frank and people were coming back, I said that was great news to hear. I went there today to get a sandwich, and it was awesome. Thanks, Frank and your guys, for bringing the good things back to Merrick . GOOD LUCK, AND YOU GOT ME AND MY FAMILY BACK AS WELL.
One of my favorite Italian food stores with the best cuts of meat and the freshest Italian sandwiches. This location is right on Merrick Road. I've been lucky enough to always find parking on the street but there is also a nice size parking lot in the back of the store. All the guys behind the counter are really personable and patient. I've seen big crowds come in as well as just a few people and no matter what they are always happy to help with a smile. They also are always willing to let you try some their food or they may have free samples out. Who doesn't love a free sample? Their food is just out of this world and there is such a wide variety. From roasted chickens to pasta salads. I usually stop here when I'm in the area for a fresh made sandwich. My favorites are the "The A & S" which piles on the Italian meats or "The Palermo" which I get when I channel my inner vegetarian.
Hey there Yelpie frands ! I am usually around this neighbor alot aka work HQ. At lunch you have alot places but they are either franchises or tons n tons of cheese stuff or fake sushi with tons of suaces. This spot is different. I love it ! Why ? Because everything is made from scratch. There turkey js in-house too ! Pickles, dips, meats all worked on in house. Ask for a sandwich and choose the finest meats, cheese pickles dressings. I mean all perfect I would prefer this spot in a heart beat to anyone ranging from strict diet types to meat eaters. They have it all. Amazing range of products from olive to oils to cheese, meats salads bread and much more.
